LSD has extensive experience completing historical archaeological investigations and documenting and evaluating historic architectural properties for NRHP eligibility. Our recent historical archaeology projects have focused on a variety of resources, including mines and mining features, residential architecture and features, commercial buildings, (e.g., an ice house and a creamery) and secondary trash dumps. We have completed documentation and NRHP evaluation of historic districts, neighborhoods, buildings, canals, bridges, roads, and sidewalks.

We have also completed a variety of projects that require documentation through the Historic American Buildings Survey and the Historic American Engineering Record.
