We are a firm with unique and exciting
projects looking to add new talent to our multi-disciplinary
team of landscape architects, archaeologists, biologists,
and environmental planners. Our Environmental Planning
team offers unique opportunities to work on a full range
of environmental planning services, including resource
assessments and management plans, corridor management
studies, Title VI/Environmental Justice surveys, environmental
impact statements (EISs), environmental assessments (EAs),
categorical exclusions (CEs), and environmental overviews
(EOs). We have established strong working relationships
with federal, tribal, state, and local resource and regulatory
agencies.
This
position is in our Tempe, Arizona office with our Environmental
Planning team.
The ideal candidate is experienced
in scoping critical issues and at-risk resources, clearly
defining a project’s purpose and need, identifying
and evaluating a feasible range of alternatives, disclosing
potential impacts, providing adequate and reasonable mitigation
measures, and participating with the public in decision-making
processes. Can independently prepare all levels of National
Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) studies, and natural,
social, and cultural resource planning documents.

Master of Science
or Arts degree in Biology, Planning, Anthropology,
Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or Environmental
Studies or closely related field with at least six
years of consulting or agency experience or equivalent
combination.
- Specific energy industry related
experience strongly preferred (pipelines, transmission
lines, wind, solar)
